About Udzuki

Automation for Creativity

From the Founder

Automation for Creativity

During my years in academic research, I often felt that once an idea satisfied criteria such as novelty and usefulness, it rarely got any closer to being used in the real world. That's exactly why I now want to use the habit of deep, careful thinking I built through that research to turn great ideas and knowledge emerging from research and business into a system — one that people use, organizations operate, and continuously improve.

We use Web, DX, AI, and automation technologies to build ideas emerging from research and business into working systems that a wide range of people can use. By taking on processing at a scale and complexity beyond manual effort, these systems free people to think more deeply and make better decisions while doing creative work. That is the value we want to deliver to society through technology.

Automation for Creativity.

Researchers focusing on research. Developers focusing on development. Organizations focusing on value creation. An environment where people and organizations can do what only they can do — that is what we aim to create.

Behind the Name

The name Udzuki originates from the research and development of Automated Program Repair (APR), which the company was focused on at its founding.

From the acronym APR, we associated it with "April," and chose "Udzuki" — the traditional Japanese name for April — as the company name.

The founding belief that automation supports human creativity lives on in our current mission: Automation for Creativity.
